We are excited to bring this program to families of our local community through our partnership with the Children's Center of the Antelope Valley! Through Music Time, kids ages 10-15 express themselves through music, building self-confidence and communication skills!
Project HEART (Healing, Engagement, Academics, Resilience & Teamwork) officially launched in October 2022 through our amazing partnership with The Children's Center of the Antelope Valley!
The philosophy behind the development of this curriculum framework is relatively simplistic. Every young scholar has the ability to thrive in all aspects of their existence with the right network of support and resources in place.
Focus must be placed on whole-child approach, identifying the existent gaps, and placing intentionality behind the development of structures to bridge them.
A Heart 4 Kids was founded in 2020, and Summer 2021 was a complete success! We distributed school supplies to 230 students . Additionally, we addressed the aesthetic and structural needs of one complete school building, and the restroom facility utilized by students. In March, 2022, we had the opportunity to repair the roof and ceiling of a second building. This work is part of our strategic plan to create next-generation learning environments centered on student achievement.
We believe in the possibilities, and that with opportunity there is no limit to what kids can achieve. Belize is home to tremendous talent in many areas including athletics, and with this in mind A Heart 4 Kids is facilitating a series of clinics in Belize City during Summer 2022! Stay tuned for additional information regarding this exciting initiative!
Summer 2022 we are headed to back Belize, Central America to deliver school supplies to the Raymond Sheppard Nazarene School in Roaring Creek Village. Additionally, we will head to Dangriga Town, located in the southern region, and the old capital, Belize City. We look forward to our this expansion of our efforts as we strive to ensure that all kids have the tools and resources necessary to meet their full potential as young scholars!
This Christmas we had an amazing opportunity to partner with multiple impactful community members in Belize City to provide toys to kids in various areas. Our sincere gratitude goes out to Ms. Shanice Williams, Ms. Kara Aspinal, Ms. Gina Cherrington, The Belize Department, Aim Belize Freight and all of our other amazing supporters!
We are passionate about meeting the needs of kids here at home and around the globe. Because of our collaborative partnerships with local, regional, and national stakeholders in Belize, our work is targeted, aligned and purposeful. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been devastating to the communities of this beautiful country and the kids that live there.
Summer 2021 was a true blessing as we distributed school supplies and backpacks to 230 amazing kids! Our school supply distributions will ensure that students are equipped with the resources necessary for success in the virtual or in-person instructional setting. These initiatives are based on our belief that with the right tools and resources in place, all kids have the ability to thrive!
